90’s or 2020? The Fashion Game to Discover That Some Trends Will Simply Never Die

    Feb 19, 2020

Beauty & Fashion | Daniela Pisciottano

From street style to fashion events, it is starting to become clearer that 90’s fashion is making a comeback in 2020.

In all fairness, every year there is at least one magazine that points out the fabulous return of 90’s fashion. Perhaps we should just consider it an evergreen trend that will never die?

Slip dresses, denim jeans and cotton scrunchies are just some of the things the 90’s gifted us with.

Celebrities and ordinary people love to revisit the styles from thirty years ago (Yes, thirty!) so we have come up with a game: 90’s or 2020?

The rules are simple, look at the two pictures we have put next to each other and and guess if it was taken last month or 30 years ago. The solutions are at the end of the article!

    1. Satin dresses

A fashion statement in itself, satin is the dreamy, romantic material we all want to have in our wardrobe.

Celebrities and fashion icons love to wear it now as much as they did in the 90’s. So which picture belongs to the 90's?

    2. Velvet

    How to look effortlessly chic.

Velvet is often associated with European nobility, making it the perfect go-to material for an elegant, majestic look.

    3. Oversized Blazers

Billie Eilish has become the queen of oversized. From big jumpers to baggy trousers, the singer has made the oversized trend her trademark, but don’t forget that formal wear can be oversized too!

    4. Sequins

What’s not to love about shiny sequins?

They’re just as perfect for a glamorous night look as they are for a more casual one. Don’t underestimate their versatility!

    5. High-Waisted Denim

Denim is a a fashion staple, really.

It is very unlikely that you don't have at least one pair of denim jeans in your wardrobe; this evergreen trend is just so flattering and casual we can't get enough of it!

Here are the solutions for the game 90's or 2020?
